i always hated tag.

Tag me once, shame on you. Tag me twice... okay, FINE. I'll do it.

Five things you don't know about me:

1. I'm probably worried you're mad at me. Some might say I'm just sensitive or that I'm too much of a pleaser... but I often run back over in my head the things I've said/done and think, "Maybe that was too mean. Maybe I shouldn't have said/done that. That's probably why {insert your name here} hasn't texted back." FLD says I should stop worrying about what other people think and just get over it. I think he's probably saying that because he's mad at me.

2. I once chipped a tiny corner of my tooth off, trying to close a metal link on a pair of handcuffs. Don't ask.

3. From the ages of 6-10, I was pretty much convinced I was going to get kidnapped. I think this was mostly due to the film, "Savannah Smiles," wherein an adorable little girl is snatched by a pair of clumsy, fun-loving hooligans. Instead of locking her in a damp basement and feeding her shoelaces, they put her up in a big (ie: not twin size) fluffy bed and make her pancakes and take road trips. She doesn't have to go to school, she doesn't have three smelly brothers and while she's gone, her parents realize how truly wonderful she is. I spent four years throwing myself into the laps of strangers.

4. Nothing fills me with more rage than spending the night in a room with someone who snores. I know that's mean because people who snore can't help their affliction, but all the same... when I'm stuck in a room with a snorer, I can't sleep. I just lie awake, wondering if pillow smothering really works.

5. I like snowmobiling!

5 people I tag: Lacey, Becky, Sarah, Meghann, Joie

P.S. Sorry if that thing I said about snoring was offensive. I know I have some readers who are snorers. Don't be mad, K?

Now I'm mad at you for not tagging me. Even though I don't know what tagging even means or why you're doing it.

Hey! I would have tagged you... but your entire extended family reads AND writes your blog! Wasn't sure if you wanted them to know about... you know. That secret stuff.

Nothing fills you with more rage? Wow. Hopefully your snorer friends know about your penchant for hyperbole.

Girl, you look hot in your snowmobiling gear!

Please expound on #2- your readers are dying to know.

And, I too loved "Savannah Smiles" though, I forgot that she got kidnapped! Poor thing.

If you only knew how many times I have pondered smothering Devin. There was a time when I was about 8 months pregnant that I did put a pillow over his face. Not to try and murder him, but to wake him up. maybe scare him a bit.
I have to sleep with my ipod in these days

I loved Savannah Smiles too! We need rent that some time during our "w.t.". (And that doesn't stand for white trash) And you look super sexy in a snowsuit.

So, um, I think I know what the D stands for in FLD, but what about the F and the L? And can I sit on and/or poke him?

I totally remember watching Savannah Smiles when I was younger. It always made me cry at the end. I'm getting a little sad just thinking about it!

I was just listening to the Okkervil River song "Savannah Smiles" and thought of you.

That's all.
